TUESDAY
Having spent last week researching, I started today on my rough designs. There's another womenswear designer in my group, so the pair of us kept each other regularly updated with what each other were doing, since we wanted our collections to match. Although we didn't have to worry too much since Vetements have explained; their collections are expressions of individual people, and not one person determining the rules to what their collection should look like.
As I have already said; Vetements expressed how they love the idea of taking something ugly and making it beautiful. Or taking something everyone hates and making everyone want it. With this in mind, I decided I would focus on brining smart dress shirts and tracksuits together. They are each others complete opposite and if put together well would make a unique collection.

WEDNESDAY
Today would technically be our last day on the project since we will be presenting tomorrow, so I made sure to have my final line up completed and showed the rest of the group - asking for their opinion. As a group we all came together to show each other our work, and as a whole it looked amazing! We had kept each other up-to-date as we went along, but it was great to see everyones work there together for tomorrow.

THURSDAY
Today was our presentation, and I have to say I was really proud of my group. Considering we were a group of girls that had never spoken to each other, the majority of us came together and worked really hard, producing some amazing work. Despite the fact we didn't win, we worked really hard and that paid off.
I was worried to work in a group of people I don't really know. I am best at working alone, especially once I have an idea in my head of where I wanna take my project, I am really not good with comprise. But I ended up with a group of extremely talented and hard working girls, all of which are special in their own way and who all brought something new and different to the table.
I would definitely be more than happy to work in a group again on a project.
